Nissan debuts 2014 Nissan GT-R!

Nissan debuts 2014 Nissan GT-R!

Evolution never stops for the Nissan GT-R.  Nissan’s iconic sports car brings a refreshed vision of "innovation that excites" with the introduction of the 2014 model offering a new level of sophistication, yet with no compromise in performance.

The sales of 2014 Nissan GT-R begin in Japan on December 2, to be followed by sales at Nissan dealerships in other markets worldwide.
The 2014 Nissan GT-R offers smoother ride comfort, more refinement and benchmark fit and finish, in the spirit of a great “GT”, while delivering breathtaking performance and road-holding. Its "multi-dimensional performance" means the driver can enjoy the full depth of the GT-R’s capabilities, whether navigating corners of a winding mountain road, cruising on the highway or even in an urban environment.

Adding premium appeal to the exterior and interior design, the 2014 Nissan GT-R delivers sophisticated driving pleasure and is the ultimate embodiment of Nissan’s brand philosophy: “innovation that excites.”
2014 Nissan GT-R Overview

Outstanding performance meets a new level of sophistication

1. Mechanical Updates

Chassis

With outstanding adhesion from its tires, the GT-R is capable of stunning confident acceleration and braking performance
  • The suspension was fine-tuned to reduced load fluctuation between the four wheels, giving better stability and more consistent grip.
  • More constant tire contact is achieved by optimized electronic control of the shock-absorber valves, as well as modified front stabilizer spring rates and updated bush link. The tuning of these parts, which makes best use of the suspension strokes and enhances road-holding capability, gives a poised, confident ride and outstanding traction on rough roads.
  • With minute vibrations and road noise reduced, a relaxing, comfortable ride is assured. An additional benefit is improved straight-line stability, with fewer small steering corrections needed to maintain the correct trajectory during highway driving.
  • The upgraded GT-R is now fitted as standard with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT tires, for outstanding road-holding and precise response in all conditions thanks to stiffer sidewalls which reduce deformation, improving steering response under hard cornering. At the front, their specification is: 255/40ZRF20(97Y) and at the rear: 285/35ZRF20(100Y)
  • The braking calibration has been retuned for a more firm, linear response at everyday speeds, making smooth braking more intuitive, generating greater confidence, particularly in wet conditions.
  • The GT-R’s steering has been fine-tuned to reduce the effort required for in-town maneuvers, while maintaining its exceptional feedback during high-speed driving. The combination of retuned suspension and exceptional steering feel give outstanding confidence at high speed.

Body construction

Advanced body construction
  • To achieve the project’s ambitious targets for high-speed handling and ride comfort, Nissan enhanced the level of precision-constructed body elements and advanced assembly methods to create the 2014 Nissan GT-R.
  • Each part is made of materials selected for optimum performance: Precision-constructed, multi-material hybrid body combines steel, carbon fiber and die-cast aluminum to achieve high stiffness and light weight.
  • Thanks to the rigidity of the GT-R’s body construction, suspension precision is guaranteed while refinement is enhanced, resulting in exceptional cabin refinement even at high speeds and under hard cornering.
  • Thanks to optimized insulation and acoustic tuning, even at high speeds, the occupants are able to enjoy the sporty engine sound.
  • An optional carbon rear wing is offered, which is attached to a carbon trunk lid, giving a weight saving of half compared with the standard trunk lid.
2. Exterior design

Dazzling motion when standing still
  • The 2014 Nissan GT-R maintains its position as one of the most striking supercars in the market. Significant updates to the Nissan GT-R’s lights both enhance the visual impact of the car. Customers looking for added visual impact now have a wider color palette to choose from.
  • The 2014 Nissan GT-R sports new efficient, high-intensity, multi-LED headlights that create a distinctive “lightning” motif, generating a striking exterior visual signature. With such a unique visual reference, the GT-R’s road presence is enhanced, particularly in low-light and at night – while the fitment of the new headlights gives the driver increased visibility.
  • The new headlights feature AFS (Adaptive Front lighting System*) that automatically adapts the angle of the light beam according to the speed of the car. At highway speeds, actuators in the headlight unit adjust the angle of the projectors to project the light further. The four LED units are configured with new intensive LED hi-beam and three different LED low-beams including long-distance-illumination and wide-illumination.
  • At the rear, the GT-R’s distinctive four-ring tail light signature now forms coherent circles of illumination, giving the GT-R an equally distinctive appearance, making it easily recognizable to fellow owners and enthusiasts.
  • Upon start up, the full new lighting signature is illuminated, creating a dramatic start-up procedure.
  • Visual appeal is reinforced with the addition of a new body color called Gold Flake Red Pearl. As its name suggests, there are microscopic gold-tinted glass flakes infused into the red paint, creating a spectacular effect in the deep, lustrous paint as the light catches the finish.
3. Interior

Upscale cabin appointments
  • Choice of three interior color schemes includes a new pale ivory trim option.
  • The steering wheel are trimmed in leather, for premium tactility, while. the part-aniline leather seats are further embellished with stitched accents, giving the ambience of a genuine GT designed for cross-continental, first-class travel.

*Adapative Front lighting System is unavailable in some regions.

EXTERIOR

We took style and added steel
When it comes to automotive design, conventional wisdom dictates that you must
sacrifice practicality for beauty, or beauty for practicality. To create the
striking all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue, all we sacrificed was-nothing.

powerful visual statement. Even when turned off, their stylish sweep gives
Rogue an undeniable presence.
INTERIOR

Everyone deserves a little "premium"
We could talk about Rogue's premium interior and how it enhances the entire
experience of driving. We could also mention the 2nd-row roominess, the clever
and versatile EZ Flex Seating System, and the available 3rd-row that makes room
for seven...but we think the interior can really speak for itself
VERSATILITY

Room enough for the ones you love and the things you care about
Sure, the all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue is more distinctive than ever, but it's also more
practical, with room for up to seven. Pop the power liftgate and you're opening
up 70.0 cubic feet of versatile cargo space. Fold-down seats in both the 2nd-

AutoMedia.com ranks the Nissan Titan & Frontier Top 10 Trucks to Buy in 2014!

In the market for a new truck? AutoMedia.com ranks the Nissan Titan & Frontier Top 10 Trucks to Buy in 2014!

2014 Nissan Frontier Pro4X: One of the most versatile trucks on the market gets even more versatile in the 2014 Nissan Frontier Pro4X trim, which pumps up the standard 4.0L V6 engine to 261 horsepower and 281 lb.-ft of torque, and throws in Bilstein shocks, plus a locking rear differential. So you know it can handle anything you throw at it – all from $29,840. A new bodykit and speed sensitive steering make the Frontier Pro4X the most athletic compact truck on the market. We can’t wait to see performance versions of the Chevrolet Colorado that could compete, but for right now, nothing is messing with the Frontier Pro4X in its weight class.

2014 Nissan Titan: The one we really want is the 2015 Nissan Titan with the new design and 5.0L Cummins diesel V8, but in the meantime, the 2014 Titan is still a worthy entry into the full-size pickup market. Pricewise, the Titan slots in between the cheaper Tundra and more expensive Silverado, at $30,265 starting point, and has them both beat when it comes to handling. Only a 5.6L V8 engine is available, with 317 horsepower and 385 lb.-ft of torque, and that may be holding the Titan back with its unimpressive 13/18 MPG rating. The interior could use a refresh and there aren't many standard features, but if performance and capability are strictly your game then the 2014 Titan isn’t a bad choice at all. We just assume that the 2015 version will make a lot more sense to most truck-lovers, and their wallets.

Nissan helps set a new World Record!

Nissan helps set a new World Record!

The world's strongest man, Zydrunas Savickas, set a new Guinness world record for the "Most Cars Pulled By One Man" when he towed 12 new Nissan Notes weighing in at a total 28,530 pounds (12,941 kg).

Savickas, five-times World Strongest Man champion and widely regarded as the one of the greatest strongmen of all time, only had one attempt to set the new record. Wearing a specialized pulling harness and rope arrangement, he pulled the 12 Nissan Notes over five meters, accomplishing the feat in a staggering 32.9 seconds.
Held in Druskininkai, Lithuania, this world record attempt marked the end of the Lithuanian Car of the Year test camp with crowds turning out from all over the country to see their national hero Savickis set the new record.

Savickas was presented with an official certificate from Guinness World Records representative Jack Brockbank, marking this major achievement from the strongman.

The large crowd not only got to witness the record setting moment but also got the opportunity to admire the all-new European market Nissan Note. Launched earlier this year and built at Nissan's Sunderland plant in the UK, the new Note sets new standards for sector-first technology, practicality, design and value for money. Engineered to meet the unique demands of the European market, the new Note's Pure Drive 1.2-liter gasoline engine with manual transmission gives drivers improved CO2 emissions, increased torque and great fuel efficiency, but not even this supercharged engine would be a match for the world's strongest man in this challenge!

"We at Nissan like setting records and are always aiming high. Today we are delighted to have been able to help Zydrunas set another world record and to see so many people turn out to support him. It was a great way to mark the end of the Lithuanian COTY camp," said Taina Erkkilä, Communication Director of Nissan Nordic Europe.

On the completion of the record attempt, Savickas commented: "It is always great to set a new record. Once I got into my stride pulling the 12 Nissan Notes was fine. Obviously, a big thank you to Nissan for helping me set the record and making it all possible."

The world record-breaking attempt is the second time this year that Nissan has entered the record books. In August, Nissan helped the Electric Vehicle Union and the Norwegian EV Association set a new Guinness World Record when 260½ electric vehicles were driven in unison, the majority of which were Nissan LEAFs, including the Nissan Half LEAF.

SAFETY SATURDAY: Nissan continues teen driver education efforts.

SAFETY SATURDAY: Nissan continues teen driver education efforts.

Teenage girl proudly showing her driver's license

For the second consecutive year, Nissan is partnering with the Tennessee Governor's Highway Safety Office (GHSO) to engage teens about the importance of avoiding distracted driving and other harmful behaviors behind the wheel through the ThinkFast® Interactive education program. Teen fatalities in Tennessee have declined steadily over the last 10 years from 178 in 2002 to 94 in 2012, according to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security.

ThinkFast® Interactive is an interactive awareness game show that educates students about the importance of teen driving safety. The program is set up like a game show, complete with a full production set, mainstream music, an entertaining host and informative and engaging trivia that appeal to teens.
"This partnership is a reflection of our continued commitment to driver and passenger safety," said Selim Hammoud, director Product Safety, Nissan. "Nissan has a vision of helping to eliminate teen accidents and fatalities by instilling safe driving habits in Tennessee students with the ThinkFast® Interactive program – just one of many safety education initiatives in place to help reduce the number of auto-related injuries and fatalities."

Historically, the Tennessee Governor's Highway Safety Office has been able to offer ThinkFast® Interactive to 30 schools in the state starting with those that have the highest fatalities among teen drivers. With Nissan's support, the number of ThinkFast® Interactive events has grown to more than 110 Tennessee middle and high schools across the state for the 2013/2014 school year.

Nissan was recognized last year with the 2012 Lifesaver Award by the Governor's Highway Safety Office for its support of teen driving safety initiatives and demonstrated commitment to safe driving behaviors.
"Providing educational tools to teen drivers is one of the most important things we can do.  The spirit in which Nissan has helped us attack the problems of teen driving exhibits the best in corporate sponsorship. We are proud to continue that partnership again this year," said Kendell Poole, director, Tennessee Governor's Highway Safety Office.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for teenagers in America, with teenagers being involved in three times as many fatal crashes as all other drivers.

Affordable HEV Technology debuts soon in the new 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid

Affordable HEV Technology debuts soon in the new 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid

When it comes to sustainable mobility – including electric vehicles and gasoline/electric hybrid systems, Nissan is known for its innovative approach. More than 75,000 Nissan LEAF EVs have been sold around the world in its first two years, affirming Nissan's position as the global leader in affordable production electric vehicles and advanced Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery technology. The company's "one-motor, two-clutch" gasoline/electric powertrain parallel hybrid system made its production debut in the United States in spring 2011 in the rear-wheel drive Infiniti M Hybrid – a vehicle delivering more than 350 horsepower and 30 miles per gallon fuel efficiency.

Now Nissan has adapted its advanced Intelligent Dual Clutch System to create a new front-wheel/four-wheel drive hybrid system that debuts in the fourth-generation Nissan Pathfinder SUV (for full details on the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid, please go to NissanNews.com).

While the high performance hybrid system utilized in the premium Infiniti M Hybrid is highly appropriate to a luxury sports sedan, the new Pathfinder's hybrid system is designed to provide milder performance and fuel economy gains at a more affordable price for a wider customer base. Said Nissan North America, Inc. Vice President, Product Planning Pierre Loing: "The new system used in the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid serves as the natural evolution from conventional internal combustion powertrains to the wider adaption of hybrid systems. With its compact packaging and light weight design, it is ideal for use in family vehicles such as the Pathfinder where interior passenger and cargo space are critical – and where the system's design preserves the same abundant amount of space offered by the conventional Pathfinder."

Three key elements are critical to the design of the new hybrid system, all of which are already available in the Nissan technology catalog:

  • A range of downsized internal combustion engines, such as the new Pathfinder Hybrid's 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder – which has been fitted with a Roots-type supercharger to give it total horsepower (250 hp with HEV system) and torque (243 lb-ft) similar to the Pathfinder 3.5-liter V6-equipped model.
  • An advanced Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) that maximizes engine operating efficiency with both the gasoline engine and electric motor compared to a fixed gear ratio transmission. Nissan's industry leadership in CVT design includes the latest generation Xtronic CVT®, used in all Pathfinder models, that features greatly reduced internal friction, a wider ratio coverage than most automatic transmissions, and compact size – allowing the Pathfinder's CVT and integrated motor-clutch configuration fit in the same space as the conventional vehicle's transmission.
  • And finally, a compact Li-ion battery system that is both powerful and easily configurable for a variety of applications so as not to intrude into the passenger or cargo areas. For use in the new Pathfinder Hybrid, the battery fits compactly under the 3rd row passenger seat, so there is no difference in passenger or cargo volume versus the conventional Pathfinder models.

"This new system is not only adaptable to front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations like with the new Pathfinder Hybrid, it is completely scalable depending on vehicle design or segment," said Loing. "For example, with Pathfinder it is used with the supercharged 2.5-liter engine, 15 kW electric motor and relatively small battery pack – retaining solid SUV capabilities including standard towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. For use in an urban compact or sedan, the system might include a smaller 2.0-liter engine but a more powerful electric motor and larger battery to extend the pure electric driving range for city stop-and-go traffic use. There is complete design flexibility with this system – along with an affordability factor because it uses readily available components."

The New Nissan FF-Hybrid System in Detail

Compact and adaptable to vehicles of any size, the new FF-Hybrid powertrain achieves smooth and direct acceleration, excellent fuel economy and it significantly narrows the price premium over conventional internal combustion engines.
As with the FR-Hybrid, the FF-Hybrid utilizes the unique one-motor, two-clutch configuration known as the Nissan Intelligent Dual Clutch System.  The electric motor is linked with a Lithium-ion battery. Positioned between the gasoline engine and the Xtronic CVT® (where the torque converter would normally be), the motor also functions as a generator, conveying energy from the CVT to the battery upon deceleration. As for the two clutches, one is installed between the gasoline engine and the electric motor, the other between the motor and the CVT.
When both clutches are engaged, the engine and electric motor connect directly to the CVT, allowing the electric motor to augment torque from the engine as required. This creates the potential for powerful acceleration.

The high input/output Li-ion battery is automatically topped up by regenerative power from the brakes by converting the vehicle's kinetic energy otherwise lost in braking.
Pairing this battery with a smaller engine than conventional gasoline vehicles, closely integrated with an electric motor and CVT, results in a highly compact and cost-effective package that can be adapted for use in a range of applications.

Nissan’s Self-Driving Car Wins the Innovation Awards!

Nissan’s Self-Driving Car wins award and excites audiences at the Innovation Awards!

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.'s Autonomous Drive technology has won the Grand Prix in the CEATEC Innovation Awards, the top prize. It was awarded by a panel of independent US journalists working in the fields of IT and consumer electronics.

The award honors the best among the technologies, products and services exhibited at CEATEC JAPAN 2013. The jury of journalists assesses the exhibits at CEATEC in a number of categories to determine the best by focusing on their potential impact on the U.S. market, meeting new consumer needs, functionality, innovation and if the technology, product or service exhibited offers a unique solution to new needs. It is the first time for Nissan to have won the award and the first time for an automaker to be given this accolade.

Nissan's Autonomous Drive technology also won the Smart Mobility, Special Award category.

The Grand Prix award was given with the following citation from the panel:
“Nissan's Autonomous Drive technology will greatly benefit future society by reducing traffic accidents and fatalities, preventing traffic congestion and contributing to a reduction in environmental issues through improved fuel economy.
Nissan revealed the advanced development of its technology in August when the company committed to being ready with multiple, commercially-viable Autonomous Drive cars by 2020. The system will be deployed across the model range within two vehicle generations.

Nissan's Autonomous Drive technology is an extension of its Safety Shield, which monitors a 360-degree view around a vehicle for risks, offers warnings to the driver and takes action if necessary. It is based on the philosophy that everything required should be on board the vehicle, rather than relying on detailed external data.

Car Care Tips Every Driver Should Know Courtesy of Mossy Nissan!

Tires Tip #1
Learn the importance of tire pressure
Proper inflation pressure in your tires is essential. Under-inflation can lead to tire failure and over-inflation can wear out your tires rapidly. Check your pressure at least once a month.
 Tires Tip #2
Check your tire alignment
Misalignment of wheels in the front or rear can cause uneven and rapid wearing of your treads and should be corrected by a dealer.
 Tires Tip #3
Why rotate your tires?
Front and rear tires wear differently. Tire rotation can prevent irregular tire wear and help to extend the life of your tires.
 Tires Tip #4
Monitor tire treads
Tires must be replaced when the tread is worn down to 2/32 of an inch. Traction, particularly in bad weather, and resistance to hydroplaning are reduced as tires wear.

 Wipers Tip #1
Why is wiper blade replacement a safety concern?
Reduced visibility accounts for 42% of collisions. Weather, chemicals, and usage will eventually wear the rubber on your wiper blades. Inspect your wipers' performance regularly and replace every 12 months.
Wipers Tip #2
Signs that it's time to replace your wiper blades
• Streaks on your windshield after use
• Cracked and brittle wiper blades

Battery Tip #1
Check battery health regularly
There are a number of factors that can affect your battery's life including weather, driving habits, and technology within your vehicle. As part of your complimentary multi-point inspection, your dealership should check the current health of your battery to prevent inconvenient failures before they happen!
Battery Tip #2
Ways to help improve your battery's life
• If possible, park in an insulated garage during cold winter months. You can also insulate the battery itself if you don't have access to indoor parking.
• Clean away grease, dirt and any oxidation.

• Oil & Filter Tip #1
• Why change your oil and filter regularly?
• Oil reduces wear and tear by providing a lubricating barrier between your engine's many moving parts. Friction, heat, and contaminants can cause oil to degrade.
• The oil filter can extend the life of your oil and your car by capturing contaminants and reducing engine-damaging oil sludge buildup.

• Oil & Filter Tip #2
• Signs that you may have gone too long without an oil change
• Illumination of your oil pressure indicator light
• Pooling of leaked oil under your car
• Odd noises coming from your engine
• Smell of burning fluids
• Low oil levels on your dip stick
• You can't remember the last time you had an oil change

Brakes Tip #1
Check your brake fluid
Check your brake fluid every month. If you need to top off fluid levels, only use a brand recommended in your owner's manual. Brake fluid can be easily contaminated when exposed to air, so don't use fluid from a previously opened container.
Brakes Tip #2
Ways to tell if you need new brake pads
• Less than 1/8 padding
• Grooves or rough patches on your rotor disc
• Metallic screeching or grinding noise when you brake
• Shaking or a feeling of being pulled to one side when you brake
• Increased braking travel distance can indicate worn pads and low brake fluid

Air Filter Tip
Why should you replace air and in-cabin filters?
Change your air filter regularly to help protect your engine. It helps to remove dust and soot from the airflow to help keep your engine clean. An in-cabin filter re-circulates cabin air and helps maintain the efficiency of your heating and air conditioning system. It should be replaced every 12 months or 15,000 miles to maintain proper air quality inside your cabin.

Interior Tip
How to protect your car’s interior
• Clean or replace your floor mats
• Care for leather or upholstery following your owner’s manual
• Consider purchasing a trunk mat or protector

Nissan’s Cars Aren’t the only things that are works of art!

Nissan's cars aren't the only works of art! See who wins the 2013 Nissan Art Awards!

An international jury of five museum directors and curators tackled that question at Yokohama's BankART Studio NYK while selecting for the inaugural Nissan Art Award.

Corporate sponsorship is not unique in the arts. But as a first for Nissan, the Nissan Art Award aims to recognize art that expresses innovation and creativity to inspire society.

CEO Carlos Ghosn said Nissan is contributing to society in a meaningful way by providing support and greater visibility to Japanese contemporary artists.
Eight artists – all of whom have exhibited work overseas – showcased their mixed-media installations with themes ranging from language and history to boundaries and transience.
Dusseldorf-based artist Hiroyuki Masuyama took a photo every 20 seconds during an 11-hour flight from Frankfurt to Tokyo to combine more than 900 photos as a visual representation of time and space.
In the absence of a time machine, he said our relationship with those dimensions is elusive.
"Given the current state of civilization, I think, as humans, we still don't have the means to properly explain the concepts of time and space," said Masuyama. "Science keeps evolving and growing, but the dimensions of time and space are still mysterious to us. I wanted to express these concepts through art."
Artist Tatzu Nishi, known for constructing rooms around monuments, tries to bring alternate meanings to what we see everyday. At BankART, a public restroom became the provocative "Perry's Squadron," alluding to ships that docked at Yokohama Port and led to the opening of trade.
But winner of the Grand Prize was Aiko Miyanaga with "Tegami" (Letter), a site-specific work that suggests historical memory and transience with naphthalene shaped as keys and suitcases that degrade over time into the air.

"When Western culture came to Yokohama, many things changed suddenly, and at the same time people's desires also changed," said Miyanaga. "They had new dreams and hopes. There was an exchange of values and people. Things changed physically, too, and I think that's what led to the city of Yokohama we can see today.

"I imagined that within each of these exchanges, there was a key hidden among them. That could signify the expanding feelings of the people. That is the idea behind the title 'Letter'," she said.

Jury Chair and Mori Art Museum Director Fumio Nanjo said art is an endless source for creative ideas.

Japanese contemporary art must walk a fine line between being unique and translatable to inspire new ways of thinking. The most interesting moment of being involved in art is when that is discovered, said Nanjo.

"Art creation has to be in between unique and local, and international and universal," said Nanjo. "And then they have to show a new language, a new way of looking at things, a new concept. And then the new values – maybe they're very local and very limited values – but they become international. And the best for a curator is to promote that this phenomenon happens – that you find a unique artist."

And the Nissan Art Award did just that, with Miyanaga receiving a trophy with the signature style of artist Kohei Nawa. Nishi won the Special Jury Award.

In art, as in life, the ways in which we challenge convention – from historical memory to reimagining the car – evolves, and as technology changes, so does design.
The show runs until November 4, and the Nissan Art Award competition will be held every alternate year.

The All-New 2014 Nissan Rogue comes with confidence standard!

The All-New 2014 Nissan Rogue comes with confidence standard!

Confidence comes standard
Like every Nissan vehicle, the all-new 2014 Rogue comes equipped with a suite of standard safety, driving, and convenience features designed to help inspire confidence behind the wheel, and make every ride better, safer, and more enjoyable.

Forward Collision Warning
Sensors in Rogue's front bumper are continually monitoring the road ahead and calculating the distance to the vehicle in front of you. If the system senses you are closing in too quickly, you will be alerted with visual and audio cues.

Blind Spot Warning
If a vehicle is in your blind spot, indicators on the Advanced Drive-Assist® Display and next to your side mirror will illuminate. If you signal to change lanes while a vehicle is still there, a chime and a warning light alert you of its presence.

Lane Departure Warning
As you drive, the rearview camera monitors the lines on the road, and if you stray from your lane, the Lane Departure Warning System will let you know with audio and visual alerts.

Moving Object Detection
Moving Object Detection uses the cameras of the Around View® Monitor to help you avoid bumps and collisions. It provides visual and audible warnings if the system detects moving objects nearby, and is particularly handy when you are pulling into and out of tight parking spaces.
Clever. Careful. Confident.
Class-Exclusive 360° Around View® Monitor

The all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue has an available class-exclusive Around View® Monitor to make backing-up and parking a breeze. The system works by converting the view from each of four wide-angle cameras (in the front, rear, and side mirrors) into a composite overhead view of your Rogue. Now you can see your vehicle's position in relation to its surroundings on all sides, avoiding not only the car behind or in front, but saving your wheels from nasty curb damage.
