NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder has been named one of the "16 Best Family Cars of 2016" by Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com. It is the third straight year that Pathfinder has been included on the website's annual evaluation and selection of vehicles that "best meet the needs of today's modern families."
Editors specifically commended Pathfinder for its available Around View® Monitor, no child seat hassle with EZ Flex Seating System™ with LATCH AND GLIDE™ system, as well as for "being pitch-perfect on the road." The final selection of vehicles chosen for the honor – after an extensive two-week evaluation period – includes sedans, crossovers and SUVs.

About the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder
The 2016 Pathfinder offers exceptional levels of versatility, fuel efficiency and full-size comfort for seven passengers. Pathfinder is available in 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive configurations, with all models powered by a fuel-efficient 260-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine mated to an advanced Xtronic transmission with D-Step shift logic.
Pathfinder offers standard towing capability of 5,000 pounds (when properly equipped), along with fuel economy of 27 mpg highway for 2WD models. Pathfinder also features selectable 2WD, Auto or 4WD Lock modes from the available intuitive ALL-MODE 4x4-i system.
The quiet, comfortable ride and responsive handling are provided by an independent strut front/multi-link rear suspension design, with hydraulic electric power-assisted steering standard. Also standard are 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, with unique 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels offered with the Platinum model.
Pathfinder's attractive interior design includes comfortable seating for seven, along with an innovative EZ Flex Seating System™ with LATCH AND GLIDE™, a 2nd row tilt and glide seat that allows easy 3rd row access with a child safety seat still installed.
