The benefits of going EV

There are many factors to consider when assessing the cost of EV ownership. Insurance and registration are costs that apply to any car, electric or gas. In terms of the cost of routine maintenance, with fewer moving parts, the cost of routine maintenance is less than gas-powered vehicles. Plus, electric charging can cost less than fueling gas-powered vehicles.

With more than 18 billion EV miles driven by Nissan owners we not only know what it takes to build an EV, but also how to support their drivers. That includes providing out-of-charge towing to nearest dealership, charging location or home and 24 hour/365 days Emergency Roadside Assistance.

New Nissan LEAF vehicles come with a 8‑year/100,000‑mile (whichever occurs first) lithium-ion battery limited warranty.

EV TECHNOLOGY

EVs aren’t just cars, they’re technologically advanced connected devices, inside and out. And just like any other connected device, you plug it in to recharge it. But what you might not realize is that in an EV, the power to move you also keeps you dialed in to your world.

Still have questions?

We've got the answers to your most frequently asked questions right here.

Does Nissan make a hybrid?

Yes! The all-new 2026 Rogue Plug-In Hybrid is expected to arrive at Nissan Dealerships in early 2026. It provides up to 38 miles of all-electric range to tackle your daily commute, plus the versatility of gas-hybrid driving to go farther when adventure beckons.

How do you access your EV with the app?

Accessing your EV from the app starts by downloading the MyNISSAN app. Login using your NISSAN ID. From the Home screen, select “Charging”. Next, select “Start Activation”, and add a Payment method that will be used to pay for charging sessions. From the MyNISSAN app you will also be able to adjust your cabin temperature, set charging timers, and get range info directly from your compatible smartphone and smartwatch.
